Ben Webster is a writer on the North Shore of Massachusetts. He received his ALB and ALM degrees from Harvard University Extension School. His article “The Piano Factories of Boston’s South End” is forthcoming in the Piano Technicians Journal. His Master’s thesis, published in 2021, used primary-source research to reconstruct the life a Native scout in the Massachusetts military around 1700. Ben takes particular interest in the relationship between history and contemporary culture and politics. He publishes the biweekly Substack newsletter “Web Cache.” Ben also works as a professional piano technician.
